Koala, AUSTRALIA - An amazing story! A group of canoeists got the surprise of their life when a little Koala jumped in the water and swam to them and got into their boat!! Its thought the Koala may have felt trapped on the side of the tidal creek and saw the canoeists as its way out!!! Look at the this amazing footage. Bless the little one. The little guy is safe again and on dry land :)

Oogy is a beautiful, gentle Pit Bull. Don't believe the media hype about Pit Bulls. Most of them are adorable, sweet and loving. (I know, I had a Pit Bull mix for eighteen years who was so sweet-natured, she let other animals eat her food, and her best friends were cats. In fact, she seemed to believe she was a cat!) Don't blame dog breeds; blame cruel, or irresponsible, dog owners.

Publishers Note: In regards to the article above, I would also suggest storing extra water (bottled water, or large bought water containers often last up to two years - check the use by date) and extra food. Often when people set up their packs "just in case" of a natural disaster, they store enough food and water for themselves, but forget the needs of their pets. For those with cats, you might also want a few extra bags of cat litter, so your cat will not need to go outside to do its business; and for dog's, have a stack of old newspapers so they can do the same. With any food or water put in storage, it is advisable to have a rotation system in place. That way you do not waste anything you have bought. Use up the food and water before it goes off and replace it with new on a regular basis, possibly every six months.
